Internship Ghana — Internship Management Platform

Internship Ghana is a platform I lead as architect and developer, built to manage GIT Plus Ltd.'s internship program end-to-end. Beyond the technical build, I also serve as an instructor and mentor within the program itself, giving me a dual role as both the system's architect and one of its active users on the ground.

The platform is designed to handle the operational needs of running a structured internship/training program: participant applications and onboarding, program/cohort management, tracking of intern progress through the program, and coordination between mentors/instructors and participants. Having hands-on experience mentoring within the program directly shaped the platform's design, ensuring it reflects real workflow needs rather than assumptions.

Tech Stack:

  • Backend: Laravel (PHP)
  • Frontend: Blade templating with Alpine.js and vanilla JavaScript
  • Styling: Tailwind CSS
  • Database: MySQL

Highlights:

  • Rare dual perspective as both lead architect and an active instructor/mentor using the platform
  • Built to support real internship program operations at GIT Plus Ltd., informed directly by hands-on mentoring experience
  • Server-rendered stack consistent with the broader GIT Plus platform family for maintainability
